congrats on that. financial problems can cause so much stress. I feel so much better when ive got a padding of cash in the bank, in case there are any unexpected issues.
But, Ive got a car problem now, so it'll be gone soon ;)

Keep at it Forest! You’ll get there, too! It just takes some discipline, a plan of action, and a little help from the man upstairs.

I 'abandoned' credit cards about 2 years ago, due to constant pursuance of my wife. I am really been blessed by being free of debt in 'physical' and 'spiritual' realms!

Congratulations Henry. I remember when I first got out of debt. It was a great feeling and it allowed me to live so much more freely. Unfortunately I am back in debt as I am paying off a car. I can't wait till I can go back to living debt-free. The only problem is that I will likely take on a mortgage before that happens.

Henry, congrats on finally gaining your freedom away from credit cards! Now the best thing you can do is save every month and take a portion out of your paycheck towards savings, and by the time you retire you will be set for life! Or at the worst... if there is a rainy day you can rely on your savings account rather than being binded by the chains of the credit card company!

Till then,

Jean

Hey,

That is awesome, awesome, awesome news :). Very well done.

It always inspires me to read these posts. I have quite a chunky debt and have just started on the path to cutting away at it....

Thanks a million,
Forest.
