9 We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.
Proverbs 16:9 (NLT)
We can make all the plans we want to, but God is the one who gives us step-by-step directions. Follow God’s plan. Don’t take things into your own hands. That’s when things begin to go wrong. God knows best. God knows the end from the beginning. If you’re completely lost, just ask the Holy Spirit to lead you, to guide you, and teach you in the things of God. God always answers prayer and he’s always speaking. But are we listening? Get the play-by-play from God today.

Yes amen, that is a issue that I constantly battle with. I’m a planning freak. I have to have things well thought out and strategically place and as soon as something gets out of “my” plan I flip. I’m gradually learning it is not ‘my’ plan anyway, it is His. One of my fav scriptures that keeps me in check is Psa 37:23 – The steps of a [good] man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

I always try to follow Proverbs 3:5-6 – ” Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”
I know that my plans are often short-sited, while His plans are eternal.
