Verse of the Day: Trust in God

holy-bible.png

1 “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. 2 There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? 3 When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.

John 14:1 (NLT)

Don’t worry about anything. I know it may be hard time you’re going through. God sees your struggles. God knows what you’re going through. God sees your situation. Never lose your trust in God. You can have the peace of knowing that you have a place in heaven. But abundant life on earth is also what Jesus died for! Don’t lose the faith! Don’t lose your trust! God will take care of you.

From the Life Application Bible:

Jesus’ words show that the way to eternal life, though unseen, is secure – as secure as your trust in Jesus. He has already prepared the way to eternal life. The only issue that may still be unsettled is your willingness to believe.

i’ve always found it hard to balance between trusting in the lord completly, and doing what i can to help that along; the whole, “the Lord helps him who helps themselvs” bit, ya know? It’s one thing to trust in the Lord, it’s another to lay in your drive way, “trusting” that the Lord will get you into work on time. ;)

Allen, I completely agree with you! Faith without works is dead. In other words, you have to take action yourself and trust in God at the same time. You can’t believe God for a job and then never submit even one application.
