I am uncertain whether I filled for taxes during previous years. Can I still request W2 from my previous employments and add these to my 2010 filing?

I was the victim of an internet fraud scheme in 2009. Can I claim this loss and where on my 1040 do I find a place for that entry?

I received about 5000.00 from death benefits when my father passed away, I also received a letter saying that I would have to claim it on my taxes, but I wanted to share it with some family members who are down on their luck, in reality I will be keeping about 550.00 of it. Sooo my question is, will I still have to claim the whole amount on my taxes since i'm giving most of it away?

Is it possible for one spouse to file Head-of-Household rather than Married or do both have to file with one of the Married options? One of us has a significantly different income, and we're looking for the best potential for refund.

I was just married in 2007 and filed a separate return for 2007.

This year I filed a joint return with my husband, who owes taxes. Can they keep our refund, even if this was his tax debt prior to our getting married?

I would like to know because we will then refile our 2007 taxes if they keep the refund this year.
Thank you
