Verse of the Day: God, Strengthen My Hands!

9 For they all were trying to make us afraid, saying, “Their hands will be weakened in the work, and it will not be done.” Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands.

Nehemiah 6:9 (NKJV)

When the first sign of trouble comes, don’t look for a way out. Pray like Nehemiah and ask God to strengthen you. It may seem difficult or like there’s no way out, but thank God He answers prayer! Prayer is a mighty weapon. No matter the situation, God will turn it around for you!

When opposition builds up against you or God’s work, it is tempting to pray, “God, get me out of this situation.” But Nehemiah prayed for strength. He showed tremendous determination and character to remain steadfast in his responsibility. When we pray for strength, God always answers.
