Verse of the Day: Don’t Give to Be Seen

1 “Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven.

Matthew 6:1 (NKJV)

Remember that when you give to charities, to people, or to the church, don’t let your motivation be to please men or to impress them. It is the wrong motive and you will have no reward for it. God looks at the heart. You should be giving because you love God. When you love someone, you want to give everything you have for them. Same thing goes with God!
