Verse of the Day: When You Tithe…

   holy-bible.png

12 When you have finished laying aside all the tithe of your increase in the third year…

Deuteronomy 26:12 (NKJV)

Isn’t it interesting that the Bible says “When you have finished laying aside all the tithe…” instead of “If you…”? The Bible is clear about the giving of the tithe. God doesn’t just ask you, he expects you to. The tithe literally means “a tenth” which is why you should pay 10% of your income as a tithe. I personally pay 10% of my income but whatever you designate as a tithe to the Lord is between you and God. It’s all about the heart anyway.
