Verse of the Day: Reputation Over Wealth

   holy-bible.png

1 A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, loving favor rather than silver and gold.

Proverbs 22:1 (NKJV)

Isn’t this a great verse? It’s talking about the value of your reputation. Don’t ever compromise your reputation for a little extra money or wealth. Don’t compromise your ethics and your moral standards in the pursuit of money. Because these things have so much more value than wealth because they have eternal value. Money will be left here when you die. Just a thought…

From the Nelson Study Bible:

This proverb points out that a reputation has more value than possessions or wealth. A name cannot be replaced easily, not even with lots of money.
