Verse of the Day: Gut Check

12 A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.

Proverbs 27:12 (NLT)

What a great verse! I can say from personal experience that I have suffered the consequences of ignoring my gut; for Christians, the Holy Spirit. You know the feeling. When you’re getting ready to do something, you get that feeling on the inside that screams “Caution! Caution!”. And you ignore it and go through with it only to find out that you made the wrong decision and get burned. Be guided by the Holy Spirit in all your dealings. All your business, work, personal, financial, and spiritual choices should be guided by the Holy Spirit. Proceed with caution if you foresee danger or if the Holy Spirit gives you a check. The Holy Spirit knows more than we do. Gut check!
