Verse of the Day: One Flesh, One Budget!

24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

When you get married to someone, both of you become “one flesh”; one body. You need to stop saying “my money”, “your debt”, “your budget”, etc. and start saying “our money”, “our debt”, and “our budget”. You really should combine your finances because you are now one body joined together by God Himself with a covenant that cannot be broken. You are in this together. The number one cause of divorce in America is because of money; money stress, money fights, etc. Nip it in the bud.
