Verse of the Day: Hard Workers Sleep Well

12 People who work hard sleep well, whether they eat little or much. But the rich seldom get a good night’s sleep.

Ecclesiastes 5:12 (NLT)

Isn’t this just a profound truth from the Bible! As long as you’re a hard worker, you’ll sleep well. But it says that the rich seldom get a good night’s sleep. Why is that? Because they’re always worried about what’s going to happen to their money!

You hear about it all the time. Famous people who have fame, fortune, and power are absolutely miserable with their lives. Rich businessman teach that you should be paranoid and trust no one. That people are always out to get your money. Isn’t this a terrible way to live? But the secret to happiness is a relationship with God! That’s what all these people are missing.

If you’re a rich Christian, you know that God will provide in the tough times and the not so tough times. You also know the true source of wealth. If you’re a rich Christian, you can sleep well at night because money is not your god. That’s the secret to a good night’s sleep! Be a hard worker and love God!
