Verse of the Day: Keep it in Eternal Perspective

holy-bible.png

20 For our citizenship is in heaven…

Philippians 3:20 (NKJV)

5 …My entire lifetime is just a moment to you;

at best, each of us is but a breath.”

Psalms 39:5b (NLT)

Everything must be viewed as Christians in light of eternity. Our ultimate destination is heaven and our lives here on earth are “but a breath” compared to eternity. We must live our lives with that eternal perspective.

Everything we do, wealth-buliding, giving, living, our careers should be viewed through the lense of eternity because that is the ultimate destination. It doesn’t really mean much when you have the whole world, but you’ve lost your soul. But to be spiritually prosperous and financially rich is great! What a double-blessing!
