Verse of the Day: Sharing is Caring

10 So the people asked him, saying, “What shall we do then?”

11 He answered and said to them, “He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.”

The Bible teaches us to share what we have with those who are less fortunate. We have to be taught this even as a kid, don’t we? Because as a kid, we don’t know how to share our toys. It is not in our nature to share. That’s why we teach children to share, and that’s why God wants us to share with those who don’t have much.

We have a responsibility as Christians and those who are blessed to clothe the poor and feed the hungry. There are more than a billion people living on less than a dollar a day in this world we live in right now! Aren’t you fortunate to be making even minimum wage. Try living on less than a dollar a day. Be thankful for what you have and know that there are people who live in extreme poverty every day. We in the U.S. are so blind to the struggles of others. Know that you are blessed!
