Verse of the Day: Give in Proportion to Your Blessings

   holy-bible.png

17 Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you.

Deuteronomy 16:17 (NKJV)

This verse is a perfect example of how we should give according to the blessings that God has provided to us. Don’t be foolish in your giving. Don’t go empty your life savings and give it to a ministry unless you’re absolutely, positively sure that God has spoken to you. It may just be the Devil in disguise trying to ruin your life by making you think that you’re obeying God and being spiritual.

It’s all about your motives and your heart anyway; not exactly the amount that you give. You can give sacrificially without being foolish. You should be giving a seed of value anytime you give to God. Too many Christians today are just “tipping God”, giving what is convenient and not a sacrifice. How does that show anything to God. Remember, we’re talking about God who sees all, hears all, and knows all!

Be blessed as you give to God sacrificially and know that God blesses and provides!
